A short time

Indeed.  What happens after this short time is over no one can say.  Either way some serious changes are ahead.  What cannot continue will not continue, but whether discontinuation leads to something better or worse no one can say.  Except the one who decides.

As for the love of money being the reason, some silly person asked the other day how can the love of money cause corporations to do what they know by now will cause them to lose massive amounts of money.  Corporations are not people, and when the people (primarily the CEOs in these cases but board of directors members as well in many) are not losing money.  The CEOs are being rewarded personally with massive payments that are not justified by the performance of the company.  They succumbed long ago to the lust.

It's hard to say how many of these are still out there as they're usually found only by accident - their own stupidity - or as the result of long investigations in which the investigators finally get lucky.  The BTK guy was one and Ted Bundy got away with it for years, there are probably a lot that haven't been and will not be caught. As for Bundy and John Wayne Gacy I suspect they subconsciously wanted to be caught.  Given the percentage of society that is mentally and morally compromised to some degree - the Plandemic events suggest that around 70% is in that boat - there are probably quite a few.  When the small population of the area where I live (maybe 200,000 in an area with a mostly rural and small-town population and in a red state) arrests for child porn, killing of children by parents and such) yields almost daily arrests for these crimes it must be bad.  The blue cities with millions of parasites and the people who run those cesspools must have many more.  And since law enforcement is almost non-existent in many they aren't even trying.

These corporations are losing billions of dollars in a last-ditch attempt to do as much damage as possible before the end. The mission (destruction of humanity) is more important than profit or even survival. "Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." Rev 12:12
